Home All Alone

The Husband and I did our first escape room a few months ago. It was a bank heist theme, and it was pretty awesome! Definitely scratched my itch for activities that involve using our big brains, and a heist theme is always fun (I love Ocean’s Eleven and White Collar and the like). We finished with about four minutes to spare though we did need a few hints. Still, not too shabby, I think.

We recently did a Home Alone-themed escape room with friends and their son (he and The Boy were totally helpful. Absolutely). Our families will usually get together for game night and play strategy games like Carcassonne, Catan, and Ticket to Ride, so an escape room seemed like the next logical thing to do. Being the smarty pants that we all are, we finished with nine minutes left on the clock and had zero hints! Zero!

I’m definitely looking forward to another escape room adventure, and am hoping to continue the no hint wave!
